Presentation of CCCL

The Center for Cross-Cultural Learning (CCCL) is a private cultural institution founded and directed by Moroccan academics with many years of experience in cross-cultural education. Courses in Fus’ha (Standard Arabic) and Moroccan Arabic (Darija) are taught by professionals trained specifically to teach Arabic as a second language. The list of lecturers includes outstanding scholars in the areas of social science, humanities, literature, religion, and architecture as well as artists, journalists, NGO activists, artisans, and craftsmen.

Presenting DMLC

In 1995, the Department of Moroccan Languages and Culture (DMLC) was created to provide quality language instruction that would help CCCL program participants immerse themselves in Moroccan culture. Since then, the department has gained respect for its courses and textbooks, and attracted over 300 students annually of diverse backgrounds from all over the world.  The DMLC provides and coordinates all language courses that are part of study abroad programs and classes requested by individuals that are interested in language and cultural learning.

Welcome to the CCCL Library

The library at the Center for Cross Cultural Learning is a valuable resource, growing and expanding thanks to private purchases as well as kind donations by former CCCL program participants. Available to all program participants, it serves as an academic facility, where participants can find information about nearly any domain of Moroccan life and culture, as well as a leisure resource, where participants can find international fiction and non-fiction to suit their personal interests.

The CCCL library is located in the basement of the Legza Annex with the exception of the literature section, which is situated on the first floor.
